Hey everyone- so excited to release my second ever passing series. My first series was released in early 2019 and if I’m not mistaking has been the stores number 1 seller every year since its release. That was 10 hours of the passing where we touched briefly on the full passing system and covered relatively small amounts of each of the passing series to give everyone the full scope of the system. Now it is time to take it a step further. This body lock specific series will be anything and everything that anyone could ever want to know about body lock passing. It’s somewhere around 12 hours of technique/ rolling footage. The entire series is based around a simple concept- shelving, stuffing, and splitting. Once our hands are in position, we either shelf the legs on our legs to pass, stuff the legs into top half guard to pass, or split the legs with either 1 or 2 (this is best) of our legs. Another thing that this instructional will offer is the complete side body locking series. When people think of body locks they generally think of standard front body locks where your opponent has 2 butterfly hooks in and knees wrapped around you. Here, we go over the side body locking series where we show how to successfully flank your opponents legs and pass with locked/unlocked hands from the side of them where we have 2 of their knees on the same side of our body with their legs shelved. Piggybacking off of the locked/unlocked hands comment, we will discuss one of the main revolutions in body lock/tight waist passing. Normally when people teach body lock or tight waist passing, they teach them as 2 separate entities. You’re either a body lock passer, or you’re a tight waist passer, and if you lock the hands you are taught to keep them locked until the pass. In this series we learn to erase the arbitrary line between locked and unlocked hands. In addition to all of this, we will learn to combine the “float passing” leg pummeling series from the 1st passing instructional into body lock passing. There is nothing more you could ever want from a body locking series.
