Hey folks,
I'm looking to up my training gear game and need some recommendations from you all. What are your go-to brands for rolling apparel? Any specific features you swear by in your training clothes? Also, are there any hidden gems out there that I should check out?
Thanks a ton for your suggestions!

Personally, the Ezekiel is just so satisfying to finish with.

Ok, so about every week I get paired with this one kid in bjj, the building is always full so we start from the knees to keep space, and this kid shakes my hands and just jumps up to his feet. I am a lower belt but I didn't think that was allowed. 😅😮💨

Hello!
Graduate student here. Clearly on a budget.
Currently a white belt two stripes with 1.2 years of experience.
What are some must-have instructionals? For someone looking to improve their fundamentals? Something which really personally helped your process?
Thank you

I’ve wanted to get into jiu jitsu and martial arts for years but thought I was too overweight to start. Been working out for a while now and got down from 335 at my heaviest to about 220 now. Still fat, but figured I was in good enough condition to start. I texted the gym and they said that I could come in 10 minutes before class and the first week was free and then worry about payment and stuff after. So I walked there for the BJJ Fundamentals class, I walk in. Nod to a guy on the mats who did the same back, there were some people standing around. They had a glass counter with equipment and stuff they were selling. I stood there for a few minutes and then I realized that I probably should have introduced myself to someone, then I started to feel nervous and like I made a bad impression and people thought I was rude since no one was talking to me, so I turned around and walked back home. This was something I knew could be really good for me and I blew it. The point of my post is, if at some point down the road I’m able to try again, at a different gym, what should I do when I walk in?
